Kiss 100 recorded the biggest growth in listenership across all radio in London, according to today’s RAJAR figures. Each week, 1,499,000 listeners tune in to hear Kiss? infectious mix of the best dance music ? adding 211,000 in the last three months. The rise in listenership is reflected across the UK with 2,363,000 people tuning in nationwide.

Kerrang! continues to rock the nation with 1,240,000 guitar music fans tuning in each week across the UK ? a 24.6 per cent rise on the year. In the West Midlands, Kerrang! 105.2 has 363,000 listeners ? up by 39.6 per cent on the year.

Across the UK more than 4.8 million people tune in to Emap?s Big City network of heritage local radio stations every week. Every Week 11,609,000 people tune in to an Emap Radio station for a total of 107,869,000 hours.

Emap Radio leads the way in national radio services available on digital platforms. Five of the top 10 most popular national stations available only on digital platforms are Emap Radio stations.

Of these, Emap?s The Hits, which has 1,102,000 listeners, has nearly double the number of people tuning in as the BBC?s biggest digital-only service.

In the Northwest, where both the Managing Director and Programme Director have both left within the last few weeks, 97.4 Rock FM and Magic 999 have seen a rise in listeners.
