VIP Radio forced off-air

Satellite soul station VIP Radio, which launched last summer on Sky channel 0196 has closed down due to a serious management illness. The website reports that VIP Radio's programming is currently off air and that more details will follow soon.

UPDATE: We have learnt that the station will be back on-air shortly – the directors of the station are doing everything they can to continue the station as soon as possible.

Presenters included Andy Wint, Dick Heatherton, Bob Shannon, John Hook and Bobby Jay and artists on rotation included Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, Al Green, Michael McDonald, Sly and the Family Stone,Robert Palmer, Prince, James Brown and Marvin Gaye.
