Global Radio’s latest strategy

Global Radio, Europe’s largest commercial radio group, has announced the appointment of Stuart Mays as Director of Commercial Strategy. Mays responsibilities will include overseeing Client Sales and Insight teams for the Global group.

Mays, who takes up his new role on 5th January 2009, joins Global from Associated Newspapers where he held the position of Head of Strategy. Mays is Mike Gordon’s first appointment for the radio group.
Stuart Mays said: "I'm delighted to be joining Global Radio as Director of Commercial Strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an incredible portfolio of brands and brand platforms – it's a fascinating time to be joining the industry.”
Commenting on the appointment, Global Radio’s Commercial Director, Mike Gordon said: “Stuart will bring a wealth of experience to Global Radio, having worked for both agency and media owners. There are tremendous opportunities for us to work more strategically across our client and business portfolio, and I am delighted he is joining us in the New Year.”
