Jagger and Woody are to take over the breakfast show on Real Radio Wales from April 6th.
The duo from Greater Manchester have been best friends since childhood and an on-air duo for over 21 years. The move will see them depart from a 9 year stint in Northampton.
Before Northants 96/Heart, they worked at various stations in the North West and were involved in setting up Revolution Radio in 1998. They replace Tony and Angela Jay at Real Radio, Tony Wright disappeared from the station a few weeks ago, Angela finished on Friday but will continue as a presenter at the station.
Jagger said: “We are both very excited about moving to Wales to present the Real Breakfast Show. Real Radio is a brilliant station with a fantastic line-up of presenters and one of the best support teams in the country.”
Woody added: “I can’t wait to join and be part of Wales’ biggest radio station. I have great memories of being on camping holidays with my dad and brother in Wales. The show is going to be great fun and something we want listeners to really feel part of, every single morning!”
Tony Dowling, Station Director for Real Radio Wales, said: “Jagger and Woody’s Real Breakfast Show is going to be brilliant. They are top presenters who were consistently number one at their previous station and I know the people of Wales will love their style of broadcasting.”
