The University of Salford Students’ Union radio station, Shock Radio, is being relaunched on tonight from new studios in Salford & MediaCityUK.
The station has been off air for a year due to technical issues and now the station’s studio within the University has been completely rebuilt, allowing the station to return.
Shock Radio returns with a new lineup of student presenters, including a wide range of specialist output, a spokesperson told RadioToday.co.uk. “There will also be a focus on featuring the best of local talent, making use of our facilities in MediaCityUK on Salford Quays to allow local talent to record material and broadcast from state of the art facilities.”
The station re-launches at 7pm today online at shockradio.co.uk from the main campus of The University of Salford and MediaCityUK.
