Television presenter Michael Underwood and Capital FM jock Zoe Hanson will taking over Heart South Coast Breakfast from Monday 22nd April.
They are the official replacement for JK & Lucy who are now presenting weekday drive time on London’s Heart and Saturday Breakfast on the Heart network.
Michael is known for presenting on The X Factor, Entertainment Today, the British Soap Awards and the National Television Awards. Zoe previously presented the breakfast show on Heart’s sister station Capital FM for the past five years.
Michael Underwood said: “Having started my broadcasting career in radio, I’m thrilled to be joining the Heart family to host the all new Heart Breakfast show. It’s going to be great waking up with Zoe every weekday morning (with my wife’s consent, of course) and I can’t wait to have some fun and banter with the South Coast listeners.”
Zoe Hanson said: “I’m really excited about getting started on the show with Michael on Heart – and with having had my little girl Lois recently, the early starts will be a doddle!”
Heart’s Programme Controller Simon Monk said: “We are delighted to welcome Michael & Zoe to Heart. This pair have got an amazing on-air chemistry and together they will bring a fantastic sense of fun and showbiz to the brand new Heart Breakfast show, providing the perfect local wake-up for all our listeners on the South Coast.”
