Viking FM’s Liam Smedley is joining 103.4 Sun FM to host The Big Drive Home, weekdays 3-7pm from next Monday, 13th May.
Speaking earlier, Simon Grundy, Sun FM’s Programme Director said, “Liam came to my attention in January of this year presenting on Viking in Hull. He is a very talented presenter who has gained so much experience in just a short amount of time.
“As he’s in his 20’s, he’ll be able to connect to our younger audience, but his style is still very appealing to our older demographic. I’ve been looking for a quick witted, punchy and talented presenter for some time, and Liam fits the bill perfectly.”
Liam said, “I genuinely can’t wait to begin my new adventures in Sunderland at Sun FM. I’m gearing up to live, love and breathe Wearside. Already, I find it easy to see why UKRD are the best company in the UK to work for. I just need somewhere to live now, offers open…”
