Bauer Media’s latest purchase Planet Rock has a new weekday evening line-up, with a range of repeat programmes from the weekend schedule.
The Rock Block moves to a new time of 6pm, playing an hour of non-stop requests, followed by a different programme each night.
Mondays will see an extended version of Nights With Alice, starting at the earlier time of 7pm and continuing till midnight.
Al Murray’s Sunday morning show and Joe Elliott’s Saturday evening programme will be repeated each Tuesday night, 7 till 9 and 9 till 10pm.
On Wednesdays at 7pm, there’s another chance to hear Saturday night’s ‘Mojo Rocks’ with Mojo Magazine’s Editor in Chief, Phil Alexander.
On Thursdays, Bernard Doherty’s ‘Listomania’ and ‘My Planet Rocks’ is repeated along with ‘One Man And His Prog’.
But on Friday nights, two new shows will air: Friday Night officially Rocks with Alex Baker from 7pm and Metal at Midnight with Johnny Doom.
Alice Cooper continues his pre-recorded Late Show from 10pm Tuesday to Friday.
Planet Rock is now based at Mappin House along with Kiss and Magic, and also broadcasts on FM in the West Midlands in addition to its national DAB slot.
Previous evening show presenter Nicky Horne is now with TeamRock Radio.
