David Baker has left his full time role as Deputy Programme Manager for Radio Pembrokeshire, Radio Carmarthenshire, Scarlet FM and Radio Ceredigion.

David presented many shows across the schedules including breakfast and drive and also hosted many of the station’s events including the local hero awards. Previously in the UK David was at Breeze AM for 10 years and Chelmer/Dream for four years as Programme Controller.

He’s also worked at Classic Gold, Dublin’s Q102 and Beat 102-103.

David said: “These stations in Wales are one of the only real true local stations left and I was very pleased to have had the chance to do it over the last few years but it’s time to move on.”

David is now planning to continue his work with KFM in Ireland on week nights and further developing the Heartbeat love songs internet brand.
