BBC Radio 5 live Breakfast is broadcasting from Stevenage this morning for a live debate with the four candidates running in the Labour leadership race.

As the first votes start to be cast, Jeremy Corbyn, Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper and Liz Kendall are facing questions from an audience of party members and voters. All four candidates will try to convince the audience in the room and listening at home why they should be the next leader of the Labour Party.

5 live presenter Nicky Campbell is at the Stevenage Arts Centre to host the event from 8.30 till 10am in what is set to be an important day for the future of the UK’s second biggest political party.

The BBC Radio 5 live broadcast forms the fifth of the National Hustings which are taking place up and down the country.

Voting for the leadership ends at midnight on 10th September with the new Labour Leader announced on the 12th.
