The DAB service of Amazing Radio has ended as the multiplex owner says the station has not paid its carriage fees.
A multiplex change request by Switchdigital Ltd said: “Continuing to provide Amazing Media Group with carriage on the Greater London II multiplex whilst Amazing does not pay its carriage fees does not promote fair competition in relation to those services that are also carried on the multiplex and pay their fees as they fall due”.
The change request document has since been removed from the Ofcom website, but not before it was screen grabbed and posted online by a516digital.com
Amazing Radio has since blogged about coming off DAB in London, saying the audience is a tiny proportion of the total listeners, and that nobody noticed the move.
