TV personality and Brighton resident Jeff Brazier is making his radio presenting debut on his local station BBC Sussex this week.
Jeff, a regular on programmes such as This Morning, is on-air Monday to Wednesday at 2.30pm and Thursday from 12-4pm.
Jeff is hosting a week-long series starting today looking at the role of parenting in the 21st century. He is drawing on his experiences of bringing up two children on his own and his work as a qualified life coach. Jeff has two sons Bobby and Freddie, who he has brought up on his own, following the passing of their mother Jade Goody. The week will culminate with Jeff guest presenting the Afternoon Show on Thursday 3rd March 12-4pm, alongside regular host Allison Ferns.
Assistant Editor Mark Carter said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jeff to the BBC Sussex team. He’s got a warm personality, bags of enthusiasm and plenty of life experience. Exploring the way we parent in modern Britain was a natural choice of topic”.
Jeff added: “I’m thrilled to be working with BBC Sussex. I live in Brighton and it’s my local radio station. I’m looking forward to talking to listeners about the trials and tribulations of being a parent, sharing some top tips along the way and I’ve also asked my children for their honest assessment of how I’m doing”.
