Sir Terry Wogan’s funeral will be a private event for his family, the BBC has announced.
In a statement, the broadcaster said: Sir Terry Wogan’s funeral will take place next week. It will be a private service, for the family.
“No further details will be released, and we ask that the family’s wish for privacy is respected at this time”.
Many tributes have been paid to the BBC radio and television presenter after he died on Sunday following a short battle with cancer.
