The Association of Student Radio Alumni – known as ASRA – is holding informal social events across the UK in London, Cardiff, Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham on Monday 22nd February.
The events are free and are open to anyone who has previously done student radio or who is doing it now. They offer an opportunity to meet up with old friends, new colleagues, or just local people who have been involved in student radio over the years.
Tim Johns from BBC Radio 2, and formerly of Fresh Air in Edinburgh, says: “ASRA social events are a great way to meet up with old friends and make new ones. We’re always open to having more events all across the country – if you want to get involved, email us through the website at studentradioalumni.com”
ASRA is asking people who want to attend the event to join the Facebook page for the event to receive updates and allow them to track numbers. For news of other ASRA events, sign up to the mailing list.
