The nominations are out for the Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards 2016 – and we’ve got the full list here.
Out of the biggest groups – Bauer got 37 nominations whilst Global got 35. Wireless Group and UKRD decided not to enter once again this year after leaving Radiocentre.
There are also multiple awards for The Bay (5) 106 JACK fm Oxford (5) 107 JACK fm Berkshire (2) and Original 106 (2). Communicorp also secured two nominations, as did Orion Media, Lincs FM and Jazz FM.
These awards will be given out at the an event on May 17th at The Roundhouse in London along with the Arqiva Gold Award and two new awards for 2016: the Industry Leader Award and the Music Champion Award sponsored by 7digital, which will be given to an individual whose knowledge of music is deemed to be truly exceptional.
