BBC Radio 2 has announced a Service of Thanksgiving for Sir Terry Wogan will take place at Westminster Abbey later this year.
The event is taking place on September 27 – the 50th anniversary of Terry broadcasting on the BBC as he began presenting on the BBC Light Programme on 27 September 1966.
Further details will be announced soon by the BBC.
