Thames Radio, the new London DAB station, has hired Neil Francis & Martin Buchanan to host programmes.
Former Capital Radio and Virgin Radio presenter Neil will host weekday afternoons from Monday 4th July, whilst ex-Magic and Capital Radio presenter Martin Buchanan will look after weekend lunchtimes with two showcase programmes Totally 80s and Totally 90s.
Tony Blackburn, Pat Sharp and Neil Fox are also part of the weekend line-up.
Neil said; “I can’t wait to join my old radio mates Neil and Pat on London’s biggest new
station. It’s great to part of a team where the emphasis is on experienced London radio
voices as well as real music variety”.
Martin said; “I’m very excited to be part of the brand new team at Thames Radio and can’t
wait to get started playing the hits from two of the greatest music decades.”
Thames Radio’s founder and Executive Chairman Jason Bryant said; “We now have a first

they clearly welcome our mix of great music with great London radio personalities.”
Thames Radio launched this week on the London 2 DAB digital radio multiplex playing music of the past 40 years and today. It is owned and operated by Nation Broadcasting in Wales.
The first live show is this Friday afternoon.
