Sadie Nine is the new voice of the breakfast show on BBC Essex, replacing James Whale.

Sadie, who has worked at LBC, Radio London and Liberty Radio, is taking over the show on Monday October 3 at 6am. Replacing her on mid-mornings is Ronnie Barbour who’ll host “Ronnie Barbour’s Got Issues” from 9am till midday each weekday.

Sadie said: “I can’t wait to get started on Breakfast. We will let the BBC Essex audience decide what they want to talk about and our stories will be about them and their lives. We don’t want experts on the show we want Essex people.”

Managing Editor Lou Birt added: “Sadie has a loyal following of listeners who love her style and her laugh.”
