BBC Children in Need will be co-hosted by BBC Radio 2’s Graham Norton this year, along with BBC Radio 1’s Greg James and Capital’s Marvin Humes.
Tess Daly, Ade Adepitan and Rochelle Humes are also part of the presenter list – meaning previous favourites Fearne Cotton, Dermot O’Leary and Nick Grimshaw are not involved.
Fearne has been part of the show for the last 10 years whilst Radio 1’s Grimmy has been included in the line-up for the last four years.
Graham Norton says: “It is a huge privilege to join the presenting team for the Children in Need Appeal show. This year we’d love to raise as much money as we possibly can in honour of the late Sir Terry Wogan.”
Greg James says: “It’s an honour to be hosting Children in Need this year; it does such great work and makes a huge difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. I can’t wait to get going and show everyone what we have in store on the night, all with the aim of raising as much money as possible for this brilliant cause.”
Marvin Humes says: “I’ve always been a huge fan of Children in Need and have great memories of watching the night of TV growing up and of course, performing with the JLS boys. It’s going to be a great night and I’m looking forward to raising a lot of money for this fantastic cause.”
Charlotte Moore, Director, BBC Content says: “Our new line-up of presenters promise to deliver a spectacular evening of entertainment for charity’s biggest night of the year. I know the nation will dig deep and do the late Sir Terry Wogan proud with their generous fundraising.”
The Children in Need Appeal Show is a BBC Studios production, executive produced by Clare Pizey and Paul Wright and the series producer is Leanne Witcoop.
