Stephanie Hirst is to host the first Radio Academy South Christmas Quiz in Southampton on December 1st.
The event is open to all sectors of the radio industry, whether members of the Radio Academy or not, based in or around the South of England –
Teams of five must register online before the night, and Radio Academy South Chair Roy Martin is hoping for a good turn out. He said: “I’ve been to a number of radio quizzes in other areas of the UK so thought it was time we had one here in the South. It’s always a good night, a great excuse to catch up with colleagues, and with Stephanie at the controls we are guaranteed an entertaining night.”
“The bar will be open and we’ll even have some nibbles out! Let’s hope we’ll have at least one team from each station – from hospital, student and community radio to the BBC, Celador, Bauer, UKRD and Global – everyone is welcome.”
