Radio presenter Danny Baker has denied reports he’s entering the ITV show I’m a Celebrity this year, but reports suggest he and a number of other radio people are.
Apparently joining the show this year are Capital North East co-host Scarlett Moffat, famous for Gogglebox, Lisa Snowdon, previously with Capital, and if we’re really looking for radio angles, George Lamb’s dad, former LBC’er Larry Lamb is in there along with former Radio Aire regular Carol Vorderman(!). Even talkRADIO’s property king Martin Roberts is in there, along with George Shelley from Capital.
They were revealed by The Sun on Sunday evening, ahead of the programme starting on Sunday November 13th at 9pm.
We’ve updated this story since telling you about The Sun ‘confirming’ Danny Baker is taking part, but he’s since put out a message on Twitter saying ‘the very idea is preposterous‘.
Previous radio people to take part in the show include Tony Blackburn, who won the first ever series of the show, Mike Read, Toby Anstis, Craig Charles and Pat Sharp.
Sitting here seeing I am going in the Jungle next week. Chums, the very idea is preposterous. And to people I'm now working with: calm down.
