Former Key 103 breakfast co-host Chelsea Norris is taking over the afternoon drive show on BBC Radio Manchester.
She replaces Sam Walker who left late last year to take a career break to travel.
Chelsea will continue to host Saturday breakfast with Phil Trow for now and will also cover BBC Radio Manchester breakfast for the next couple of weeks, putting her up against her former colleagues at Key 103.
Chelsea said: “I’m so pleased to be joining BBC Radio Manchester.
“Sam Walker who previously presented the Drive Time show was a friend of mine. I know I have big shoes to fill. But I’m really excited at a new opportunity on the radio in Manchester and I can’t wait to get started.
“Having been on commercial radio in the city for the last 15 years, I’m very excited to be joining the hugely respected BBC. The team at Radio Manchester are great and I can’t wait to get stuck in to my new Drive show.”
Chelsea co-hosted breakfast on Key 103 for 11 years before leaving earlier this year. She’s also worked at a number of other commercial stations in the region.
She starts her new show on February 27th 2017.
