Former Orion Media Group Content and Operations Director David Lloyd has been appointed Chairman of local television service Notts TV.
David takes over from founding Chairman Craig Chettle, who remains an Executive Director of the Board.
Mike Blair, Executive Producer at ITV studios company Shiver, and formerly Current Affairs Editor at ITV and Regional Director for Central Television is also appointed to the Board and will become a Non-Executive Director.
David Lloyd comments: “Notts TV is now proving an attractive media offering in Nottingham thanks to the efforts of Craig and the team – and the support of Nottingham Trent University.”

Craig Chettle added: “David and Mike both bring considerable commercial experience to the board as well as knowledge of and a passion for the county and the region and we are looking forward to their input moving forwards”.
Mike Blair adds: “Local television has been an exciting addition to the broadcast media landscape complementing regional and national TV. I’m looking forward to helping Notts TV continue its journey.”
Notts TV broadcasts locally on freeview channel 8, Sky 117 and Virgin 159.
