BBC Radio 5 live’s Saturday morning Fighting Talk show is going on tour, with 7 live shows to take place in cities across the UK.
The first will be in Glasgow later this month to coincide with the 6 Music Festival in the city. Colin Murray and his guests will then head for Liverpool on 8th April, which is the morning of the Grand National at Aintree.
Other destinations are Lincoln in May, London’s BBC Radio Theatre in June, Newcastle on the weekend of the Great North Run in September, Belfast in October and Hull in November. For all except the Glasgow show listeners will be given the opportunity to apply for free tickets to see the show being broadcast live.
Colin Murray said: “I’m only doing it for the free hotel rooms, to be honest! No, it’ll be great. FT has a long tradition of making the listeners the most important part of the show, so getting it on the road is special. All of them will be a pleasurable experience but for me personally, bringing FT back to Belfast will be amazing!”
