Three presenters from Calon FM are staying awake and on the air for the next 24 hours to raise money for charity.

Jack Price, Dan Middleton and Jamie Davies from Calon FM are doing it in aid of Wrexham’s Nightingale House Hospice.

From 10am on Thursday 20th April through to 10am on Friday 21 st April, they swap their usual ‘Let’s Talk Sport’ show for all things Nightingale. The show will feature guests from hospice staff to local fundraisers and they’ll be taking a look forward to events going on throughout the year.

Live music will air in the evening from the Nightingale House Choir as well as acoustic sets from local singers. Throughout the night, they will be staying awake by walking the Ladies Midnight Walk on a treadmill.

Katherine Wade, Station Editor; “Jack, Dan and Jamie did such a great job with their 56 hour show last year, it’s great to have them taking over the airwaves again for such a great cause. Nightingale House have been regular guests on Calon for years and the work that they do in Wrexham is fantastic. It’s great to be able to offer them a platform like this to show the people of Wrexham what the hospice is all about.

Jack, Dan, Jamie & Harry have been volunteering with Calon FM for three years alongside their studying Broadcast Journalism at Glyndwr University.
