Pixie Lott is joining Sun FM in celebrating 20 years of broadcasting to Wearside at their free birthday bash in the centre of the city.
The event is taking place on the same day as The Siglion 10k & Half Marathon – Sunday May 7th – and the party will continue between 12-3pm with live entertainment, games and giveaways at Keel Square.
Pixie Lott has confirmed as the headline act and will be performing live on the day for those who stay around after their running, or listeners who want to join the Sun FM party.
Simon Grundy, Content Director, said: After we bought ourselves a shiny new transmitter to make our FM signal more powerful, we then felt we really needed the listeners to be able to join in and celebrate our 20th birthday -hence the free bash!”
