BBC Minute Editor Jonathan Richards is the new Head of News and Information at Celador Radio.
Jonathan previously held senior positions at BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat and Global Radio where he was group head of news and programme director of LBC.
At Celador, he will take responsibility for all factual speech output for the group’s twenty six regional and local radio stations across the UK, and all news content on its digital platforms. This will include national and local news, traffic and travel information, local event and what’s on information and entertainment news.
Jonathan was most recently working at BBC World Service as Editor of the BBC Minute output and joins Celador after the position was advertised on RadioTodayJobs.com.
