Dave Berry’s new programme on Absolute Radio has been confirmed as the afternoon Home Time show.
He is currently on gardening leave from Global before being allowed to switch to Bauer – but his first show will be on Monday 2nd October at 4pm till 7pm.
RadioToday reported he was leaving Capital Breakfast after five years back in February, and his co-presenters George Shelley and Lilah Parsons have also moved on. Capital Breakfast is now hosted by Roman Kemp.
Talking about his new show at Bauer, Dave added: “Absolute Radio is a great fit for me. I’m a lover of all things music and comedy and I am really looking forward to getting to work on building a brand new show.”
Absolute Radio Content Director Paul Sylvester added: “It’s great that we can finally talk about Dave joining Absolute Radio. He’ll fit into the station and our presenter line-up perfectly because he shares the same values and passions as our audience.”
