Jason leaves Max on Fire as wife goes into labour

There was added drama on Fire Breakfast this morning with Max and Jason as Jason’s wife Nicky entered labour.

Jason Webster was mid-link with Maxine Knight when he announced he has to go into hospital as he announced “I think the baby is coming today”.

He offered to stay and finish the show but Max insisted he went to help with the trip to hospital.

Maxine then presented the rest of the breakfast show for Bournemouth and Poole on her own.
