A special Foot In The Door morning for students, community radio volunteers and podcasters will take place on 8 September – the morning after The Radio Academy Festival.
The event will be at The Media Cafe in BBC Broadcasting House and will offer advice to the next generation of audio talent, and those volunteering in community and hospital radio from leading professionals across the sector.
It will be a “speed-dating” format where delegates move around the room to hear from experts on production, presenting, sound design, operations, podcasting, documentaries, drama, music programming, digital/social, and more.
Presenters will also be take their demo’s along and get one-on-one advice from leading radio programmers.
There are 100 free places on offer, but registration is essential. The Festival itself takes place the day before, on 7 Sept at The Royal College of Physicians in London.
