Ofcom has opened an application window for anyone wanting to operate an RSL during Ramadan in 2023.

The regulator usually has high demand for restricted service licences during this period so controls it with a strict closing date – this year it is Friday 21st October 2022.

It covers RSL operators wanting to broadcast on any dates between Sunday 19 March and Tuesday 25 April 2023 inclusive.

Ofcom says: “Applicants should ensure that they are familiar with the application criteria and must use the current version of the application form.”

More information is available on the Ofcom website here.
