A volunteer at Radio Lonsdale in Cumbria had his dreams come true after meeting Michael Ball at BBC Radio 2.

Harrison Holmes, who is 22 years old, travelled to Wogan House where Michael Ball surprised him with messages from Alfie Boe, Gary Davies, and his own ident.

The trip was organised by BBC North West Tonight and highlighted on the evening news programme on Tuesday, presented by former radio journalist and now television host Steve Saul.

The hospital radio presenter has Cerebral Palsy and has raised thousands for charity.
