North Derbyshire Radio is one of the new services joining the High Peak small-scale DAB multiplex.
The station has been on air for around two and a half years and is now broadcasting on the multiplex for Glossop, Buxton and the High Peak.
To coincide with the move onto DAB, the station is also making changes to its daytime schedule, with Sean Goldsmith hosting the Daytime Show from 10am each weekday morning and a new team, including Emma Scott, to present the Hometime Show.
Michael Weadock will host on Mondays, Clare Elise on Tuesdays, Emma Scott joins to present Wednesdays, Thursdays will be Claire Salanyk and Nigel Turner on Fridays.
Station Controller Naz Premji said: “North Derbyshire Radio continues to grow and we are delighted to be on DAB across the High Peak.
“We have already built up a loyal audience who love what we do and we hope this move onto DAB across Buxton, Glossop, New Mills and beyond will help elevate us even further.
“We look forward to welcoming many new listeners to the station and continuing to provide a radio station that people across North Derbyshire and beyond can be proud of.”
Craig Pattison from High Peak One Digital commented: “After two years the wait is over. Until now the High Peak has had very little in the way of radio choice in the area. This has now all changed with the introduction of small-scale DAB from High Peak One Digital.”
