Bauer has opened new studios in Swansea for The Wave Breakfast presenters Leigh and Clare to broadcast their show from each day.

Simon Myciunka, Bauer Media Audio CEO, visited on Monday this week as the new complex officially opened.

Based on Swansea Enterprise Park, the studios now include a dedicated news studio from which local journalists cover all of the stories in the area.

Leigh & Claire said: “We’ve been in our new home for a few weeks now and it’s been brilliant to be broadcasting from such fantastic studios.

“We both love where we live and to be doing this job from the heart of our community is an absolute privilege, and the relationship we have with our listeners is such a special one.

“People don’t believe us when we say we enjoy getting out of bed at 4am every morning but when you’re lucky enough to be able to broadcast live from the best studios to the best audience every day we wouldn’t change it!”

The Wave is set to change name to Hits Radio in April, but retain its local breakfast show between 6am and 10am.
