Ofcom launches investigation into David Lammy programme on LBC

Ofcom has launched an investigation into a David Lammy programme on LBC following more than 50 complaints.

The regulator says it is investigating whether a programme hosted by the shadow foreign secretary on Good Friday, 29th March broke rules on politicians acting as news presenters.

Ofcom confirmed on its website that more than 50 complaints had been received over the programme but the nature of the any possible breach hasn’t been confirmed.

Last month, GB News was found in breach of due impartiality rules in five of its programmes.
